Em hotep, and welcome to the community!

This community is open to anybody who has an interest in ancient Egypt and its Gods and Goddesses, whether you worship them or just like to learn more about them.

All traditions are welcome here -- modern Kemetic, Kemetic Orthodox, Tameran Wicca, etc. Please treat everybody with respect -- we will not tolerate any discrimination and prejudices.

Please feel free to tell us about yourselves.

em hotep! :)

my name is Krissy, but I am also known as Kir'aSekhmet, or simply Kira. I am a member of the House of Netjer but am also exploring all the other temples that are out there -- I want to know as much as possible about everything. :)

Em hotep!

I usually go by Kitsy, but Sesen is fine too.

I'm an art history major at the University of Memphis hoping to go onto graduate studies in Egyptology (focusing in Egyptian art). I'm also Kemetic and am leaning towards joining the House of Netjer, but for now I'm just doing my own thing. :)

Hotep,

I'm Sasha, Kemetic Orthodox shemsu. Also known as Sobekemiti (shemsu name) and IbDjehuty (given me by Djehuty). I've become a bit of an eclectic pagan again, and my beliefs have come to embrace not just Kemetic stuff, but borrowings from Hiinduism, I'm a big Discordian, there are things I like about Qabbalah, and a few other things as well. I also read tarot cards and believe in nine elements. But I do have a big thing for Sobek, Djehuty, Aset, Kwan Yin, and Ganesha (Djehuty introduced us).

I plan on writing up an entry on my varied beliefs at some point for my journal, so that should perhaps make my eclecticism a little more clear.

Em Hotep!

I'm Silver--but I'm called Tahotepirty (or Tahotep for short). I'm a Shemsu in the House of Netjer. I'm trying to learn more about my Akhu and my Mothers (Hethert-Sekhmet and Bast) as well as my Beloveds (Aset-Serquet and Amunet).

I enjoy studying ALL the Names though :)

I'm Senneferet. I'm a member of the Children of Kemet forums and a Modern Kemetic that also enjoys the study of witchcraft. Neteru influencing my life the most at the moment are Anpu, Wepwawet, Aset, Nebt-Het, Nut, Bast and Set

Hotep!

I'm Laurie (or Wedjbai, my Kemetic nickname). I'm a Shemsu-Ankh in the House of Netjer and a daughter of Aset and a beloved of Hethert, Wesir, Yinepu, Nut, and Nebt-het. I have an interest in the gods of the Duat, such as Amentet and Iabet (and Others).

Hullo,

I'm CrevanFox. I'm halfway between Kemetic Reconstructionist and Tameran Wiccan, which is admittedly an odd way to be, but it works for me. I am a devotee of Aset. I'm working on being more active with my faith on a day to day basis.

hello, and welcome!

as long as your path works for you, that's all that matters. I looked into Tameran Wicca briefly and it seemed very interesting. Aset is one amazing goddess. :)

Hi! I'm Jennifer aka Nefersedt. I'm a member of the Children of Kemet forums and also an undivined remetj of the House of Netjer. Tradition-wise, the only thing I've actually got at the end of the day is the presence of Anubis and Wepwawet in my life. The rest is developing in a pretty individualistic way as I try to figure out what works for me, but inevitably it seems to involve one jackal or the other. :) I also spend too much time and money on researching jackal deities and collecting ancient Egyptian antiquities. I tend to go on about these sort of things a lot on my journal, which anyone is welcome to add.

Hello! I'm known online as Acid, though you can call me Zef. I'm a Shemsu in the House of Netjer, and a daughter of Yinepu. My beloveds are Set, Sokar, and Sobek, and at the moment those four are the only Netjeru in my life at the moment, though I also have a relationship with the totem spirit Coyote (I practice an odd form of shamanism alongside KO).

So, ah, hi! I'm generally pretty friendly, especially with people whose beliefs I don't necessarily share (most of my good friends are Catholic. It makes for interesting times). I believe that what works for me may not work for other people. :3

Hi, I'm Iahmose. I'm a rather complete beginner, completely solitary (Eclectic) Kemetic Reconstructionist.

I work primarily with Djehuti, and have connections to Ra, Horus, Anubis, and Bastet as well.

Hello~!
